Even more fun than session 1 – How is that possible? Session 2 specialty camps!
Just when you thought the days at Beaver Summer Camp couldn’t possibly get any better, there’s even more fun on – and off – campus! This week, four specialty camps are starting up. Read more for details on each one.
Beaver off Broadway. In the two two-week sessions, aspiring actors entering grades four through seven come together, make friends, and learn a host of drama-related skills from singing to dancing to set design, costuming, and makeup application. And of course there’s acting – and lots of it – leading up to a final performance of their original show. Check it out!
Studio Art is another awesomely creative arts camp that’s been a favorite at Beaver for years. In fun-filled, inspiring one-week sessions, budding visual artists and art enthusiasts are led by our talented staff in theme-based activities that culminate in impressive art shows in our authentic visual arts studio. Adventurous campers entering grades two through four embrace the outdoors in one-week sessions of Into the Woods, an off-campus program that travels to exciting nearby destinations and is educational, interactive, and fun. See more here.
Finally, an off-campus program for nature lovers in grades four through six that spans two weeks and includes two overnight trips is Peak and Paddle, the program that teaches skills and fosters confidence, enthusiasm, and fun in the Great Outdoors.
